Invoicing and tax information
What is Yartist's role?
Yartist connects you with clients. You agree on the work and fee directly, and payment takes place outside the app. Yartist does not handle invoicing, tax withholding or tax returns for either party.
Agree on the details before starting
- Record the work, fee, delivery deadline and payment deadline.
- Clarify the contract under which you will work, whether an invoice is required, and who handles any tax withholding, reporting and payments.
- The tax status on your profile helps you discuss these details, but does not by itself establish the conditions under which you may take on a particular assignment.
Which arrangement fits your situation?
Occasional and regular work may involve different obligations. Your activity, client, existing employment and country of taxation all matter. Working as an individual, sole trader, through a company or a school cooperative involves different conditions. Ask an accountant or tax adviser about the appropriate arrangement and invoicing before accepting the assignment.
Where can you find help?
For Hungarian matters, read the Hungarian tax authority's 2026 information booklets, and check that the guidance applies to the date of your work. For assignments involving another country, seek professional advice about its rules as well. Yartist support does not provide individual tax advice.
