Deleting your Yartist account

In the app

1. Open the Yartist app and sign in.
2. Profile tab → Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm with your password (not needed with Apple or Google sign-in), and tap “Delete account”.

Before deleting, you can download your data: Settings → Download my data (you get the link by email).

Without the app

Write to privacy@yartist.app from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Account deletion”. We confirm the request and start the deletion; the rules below apply the same way.

What happens after the deletion

• You are signed out on every device at once, and your profile, Gigs and conversations disappear for other users.
• 30-day grace period: if you sign in during it, your account is restored.
• After 30 days your personal data (name, email address, profile picture, bio, location, devices, sign-in details) is permanently deleted or overwritten, and your portfolio is deleted with its files. You can open a new account with the same email address later.
• Your conversations disappear for the other side too. Messages and chat images are kept hidden for 90 more days (only a moderator can access them, from a report, or on an official request), then deleted automatically.
• Moderation and legally required records are kept for the period the law requires.
